Following performances in Daegu, Busan, and Gangneung in March, KNB’s 〈Swan Lake〉 continued its journey with performances in Dangjin, Seongnam, and Jeonju, sharing the appeal of classical ballet with audiences across the country.
After provincial performances in March and regular season performances in April, KNB performed at Dangjin Culture & Art Center on May 29(FRI)–30(SAT), Seongnam Arts Center Opera House on June 5(FRI)–6(SAT), and Moak Hall of Sori Arts Center of Jeonbuk State on June 19(FRI)–20(SAT). Each performance was greeted with enthusiastic applause, culminating in the successful completion of KNB's 20-performance 〈Swan Lake〉 tour in the first half of 2026.
A highlight of the Jeonju performances was dancer An Seongjun’s debut as Rothbart, where his confident and poised performance heightened the dramatic tension of the production and left a lasting impression on audiences despite it being his first appearance in the role.
KNB will continue expanding access to ballet through the National Art and Culture Distribution Support Program, meeting audiences in more communities and presenting world-class productions throughout the country. We appreciate the continued support of audiences and look forward to sharing many more unforgettable performances.
