Crimson Dawn: The Body Called Forth

Song Jungbin

< Op.54 – II, III >

The second and third movements of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54, are seamlessly connected despite their contrasting characters.

The second movement unfolds with a quiet, lyrical flow, expressing delicate emotions and subtle nuances of breath and phrasing.

The third movement carries forward that energy, expanding it into a brighter and more powerful expression.

Rather than explicitly narrating emotions, this work focuses on the evolving flow of the music and the energy of movement within it.

Beginning from a place of quiet introspection, it gradually builds into a driving force that moves forward, culminating in a bright and vivid conclusion.

Kim Nayeon

< Leave it >

'Sometimes the only way forward is to leave it.'

Joung Eunyoung

< Intersection >

Inspired by the premise of the film < My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday >, this work is set at the age of twenty—the only point at which the timelines of two people moving in opposite directions coincide.

In the opening section, the choreography lyrically portrays the anguish and tenderness experienced by the couple after discovering the secret of their intertwined time.

The second piece unfolds like a panorama of memories, capturing the pure yet passionate moments of love they shared before confronting the tragic truth that awaited them.

Park Yeeun

< Persuasion >

Once, I relinquished love at the words of another.

Thereafter, I lived in silence for a long time.

Now, I choose—not from fear, but from who I am.

Bae Minsoon

< Crimson Dawn – The Body Called Forth >

This is not a story of heroes.

It is the story of ordinary men walking toward war.

They are afraid, yet they do not stop.

Strength is not found in a cry of defiance,

but in the silence of taking the next step forward.
