KNB Society’s support project ‘Guest Teacher’s Masterclass’ began in 2024.
This year’s first guest, Julio Bocca, is a world-renowned artist from Argentina and has been a principal dancer at ABT(American Ballet Theater), and also has worked as guest artist with many companies, including Russian Mariinsky Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet, and Paris Opera Ballet. He became Artistic Director at the National Ballet of Uruguay.
During this visit, he shared a great deal of the valuable knowledge he got from his experience as a ballet dancer with our dancers at KNB on February 13th(TUE) to 23rd(FRI). On February 17th(SAT), he even participated in a special class for KNB-affiliated Ballet Academy students to share information on understanding the right use of the body, and in a professional ballet dancer’s program as a mentor.
